If the curve radius is less than1.5 times of diameter to the ferrule, it will be much harder to bend the hydraulic hose. 

The right way to install the hydraulic hose is to use the proper hydraulic hose fitting, to leave the suitable bend radius. 

Otherwise, the hydraulic hose will be screwed too tight, if you choose the wrong hydraulic hose fitting. 

Please remember to leave some extra space to keep away from the object, it is important to decrease the friction to protect the hydraulic hose pipe well. 

The wrong way to install the hydraulic hose closely to the object, is very dangerous to cause some potential problems.
