These hoses, often seen as minor components in the hydraulic system, are in fact, essential parts of the fluid power transmission.
This solution is designed for applications requiring long life, minimal volumetric expansion, and robustness under continuous heavy-duty use, like lifting equipment (mobile cranes, aerial platforms, telehandlers, forklifts and reeling), hydraulic wrenches, rescue tools and more.
Specifically, on a special version for mobile applications that features 2 or more layers of steel spirals. The great challenge for this latest innovation is to keep the same flexibility of standard hose while containing the weight and ensuring ultra high-pressure resistance.
While fluid power transmission constitutes a singular field of application, our hydraulic line is remarkably wide covering the most different customer requirements in terms of construction, sizes, pressure, and attributes. Concerning sizes and pressure, our offering ranges from 5/64” up to 1”, while maximum working pressure reaches as high as 1.500 bar (22.000 psi). As for the accessories and features, the offer is extremely wide ranging from twin to 3 or more lines (multiline - up to six) to different colours, conductive and non-conductive versions as well as different cover or inner core characteristics.
Widely used on the hydraulic market, rubber hoses represent the traditional component for fluid power transmission. However, due to the unique properties of thermoplastic polymers and product manufacturing process, the thermoplastic hoses offer remarkable advantages compared to traditional rubber hoses in numerous applications.
Continuous quality monitoring of the extrusion lines ensures that inner and outer diameter and ovalization fall within strict tolerances while batch-specific burst tests and impulse tests are ongoing activities of our quality assurance team. Within our hydraulic range, we conduct impulse tests in accordance with industry standards. These tests are particularly rigorous, involving hoses that must endure over 150,000 or 200,000 cycles, at 1.25 or 1.33 times the working pressure and an oil temperature up to 100 degrees Celsius (212 F).
Despite standard specifications, our hydraulic hoses are engineered to exceed these standards, and for the most demanding applications, surpassing the impressive milestone of half million cycles on some hose types.
On some application like lifting platforms, even a few kilograms can be crucial. The weight of a hydraulic thermoplastic hose is on average 20 – 30% less than a conventional rubber hose. This weight loss in today's scenario must be seen as a saving in terms of fuel, energy costs, less pollution and more sustainability. In addition, under certain conditions, this weight can really make the difference from a platform that can reach a certain height to one that can go even further, and this is a true competitive advantage for the aerial platform manufacturer.
Ferrules still plays a key role in the reliability of the finished hose assembly. Our approach to this challenge was to design our own ferrules that would cover a wide range of industry fittings manufacturers. Compatibility of our ferrules to the different industry's fittings design was achieved by combining bore stem collapse measurements as well as crimping diameters to determine the most reliable crimp result. This is a remarkable achievement, having the possibility to rely on our ferrule range and get the most out of our hose products, without the hassle of doubling your insert range, at least for standard pressure hoses.
The same commitment extends to our diverse range of industrial hoses designed for fuel, gas, chemicals or water. Whether addressing specific customer needs or enhancing existing products
