WHAT IS A/C LINE OR HOSE REPLACEMENT?

A/C hose device is where the refrigerant passes through to get from one point to another. HOW IS A/C LINE OR HOSE REPLACEMENT DONE?

1. Remove assembly off vehicle
2. Deliberately cut the ferrules or crimps, and remove the old ferrule and hose
3. Install the replacement ferrule first that will hold the new hose in place
4. Slip the new hose into the fitting section
5. Slide down the ferrule to secure the hose in place
6. Crimp the ferrule. This crimping is what essentially locks the hose in place

RECOMMENDATIONS

Once you've replaced the old hose with the new low pressure hose, you'll want to double check the connections to the compressor and the expansion valve. In many cases, the service manual will explain how to properly tighten the new connections.
