air & water rubber hose is designed to convey tap water, industrial water, sewage, cooling water, cold and hot water for washdown applications and to transfer compressed air (compressors, pneumatic tools, hose reels). It is composed of 3 parts,inner rube, reinforcement and outer rubber. It has constant working pressure at 300PSI and the cover can be black, yellow, red with different colors and also can be wrapped and smooth surface.

APPLICATION

Application: For air, oil and medium grade fuels used in construction, shipyards, mining and agriculture.

Air & water rubber hose is generally regards as "Multiple Purpose" Hoses which are commonly seen in a wide range of air, water and other fluids applications. They are normally made from rubber, PVC or hybrid thermoplastic rubber.

When selecting a Multi-Purpose hose, users need to consider the weight, handling characteristics, fluid and environment compatibility with the tube and or cover. For example, an oily environment will breakdown most of PVC/Vinyl. Additionally, a very cold or very hot environment will have adverse effects on the hose. PVC hose will becomes rigid on a cold day and becomes a wet noodle on a very hot day.

The reinforcement will also make the hose more robust, kink resistant and able to handle higher working pressures. More modern compounding processes have used hybrid thermoplastic hose to instead of rubber hose.

Advantages:

There are many advantages for air & water hose, for eg. light weight, wear resistance, erosion, hardening and explosion resistance. Besides, it has good flexibility and excellent adaptability to the extremely cold weather conditions.
